Welcome to Mommy Cares

Marichelle is the founder and owner of Mommy Cares and is a mommy to three wonderful children. 

Dedicating her sleepless nights to nursing her babies on demand, she still worked full time and went to school. Marichelle had an active lifestyle and often struggled finding affordable and trendy clothes that made it easy to breastfeed. As many of you are and will face various breastfeeding challenges, one of the challenges Marichelle faced was purchasing expensive nursing clothing that fell apart after several washes. She was not able to find nursing clothes or maternity garments that fit well. Marichelle utilized ten years of being a mommy, with five years of active breastfeeding experience to put together everyday nursing clothes, comfortable under garments and other nursing products to encourage and empower mommies to breastfeed. 

When Marichelle started Mommy Cares, her goal is to make it easy for mommies to gather the essentials needed before and after the baby is born. From nursing tops to nursing covers, Marichelle makes sure mommies don’t feel afraid or uncomfortable to breastfed in public. The great thing about Mommy Cares is the material of the products, which is soft, simple and comfortable to nurse your child. Mommy Cares provides products that make great gifts for pregnant women, first time or returning mothers who breastfeed. All Mommy Cares products are made with love for mommy and baby. 

Mommy Cares has participated in many Mommy & Me events to support mothers who breastfeed and was one of the many to sponsor the Big Global Latch On where we come together and honor mothers in our communities every year. Marichelle had the opportunity to be guest speaker at the Fall 2018 Wellness Symposium where she shared her knowledge on breastfeeding expectations, strategies for successful feedings and how to avoid complications. Mommy Cares has helped many mothers and continues the effort to normalize breastfeeding.
